Caroline Calvillo and Teri Hagen are old friends from highschool who recently reunited via myspace. Caroline, a fervent and long time Democrat was no longer dismayed to find that, Teri is now a Democrat. Through four years of highschool, Teri maintained a strong Republican doctrine and would refer to Caroline as “the future Janet Reno”. Teri, saw the light and is now a fanatical follower of lefty podcasts. Caroline, now a recent graduate with a Masters of Liberal Arts in political science plans to take it all the way with a PhD. Caroline is also an adjunct professor of political science and teaches American government.

 In addition to Las Politicas there is also the concerned stranger that is, Dr. Studly. Studly is fascinated by the way the public and private sectors work together. Heed his studly advice on current events. Studly is a man of mystery that wants only the world to know his take on politics. He will allow a picture of a terrifying moment during Caroline’s shark week party. Studly is on the right.

Seeing as The Man is in a perpetual state of Bringing Teri Down, she will be forced to be limited to feverently interjecting comments and random blog entries throughout her workday whilst Caro sips Smart Water and listens to Velvet Underground.
